Unsigned Only is looking for the total package.

Judged by a roster of celebrity notables, prizes include merchandise plus $10,000 cash to the overall Grand Prize winner and $1,000 to the First Place winner in each category. Prizes will also be awarded to Second Place winners in each category. Additionally, the Grand Prize winner will receive one-on-one mentoring from a group of upper echelon music industry executives, ranging from label presidents to heads of A&R. Mentors have included professionals from labels such as Universal, Sony, Atlantic, Capitol, Vagrant, Word, Bad Boy, Big Machine, Disney Music Group, G-Unit, Razor & Tie, J Records, RCA, Grand Hustle, and many more.

Judges include: John Oates (Hall & Oates); 3 Doors Down; Neon Trees; David Crowder; Rosanne Cash; Craig Morgan; Delbert McClinton; Darryl McDaniels (Run DMC); Of Monsters and Men;  3 Doors Down; Black Francis (Pixies); Aaron Shust; G. Love; Jason Gray; Dustin Lynch; The Mountain Goats; Alt-J; Anthony DeCurtis (Contributing Editor, Rolling Stone); Josh Jackson (Co-Founder and Editor-In-Chief, Paste Magazine); Chris Richards (Pop Music Critic, The Washington Post) , and more to be announced.

What a great opportunity! 3 Doors Down are so important they are mentioned twice (or are there 2 bands named 3 Doors Down?). And 3 journalists will be judging the songwriting as well, how exciting! Too bad my music genre (llama-stall-mucking-ambient-trip-hop) isn’t accepted or I’d be signing up right now.
Good luck winning $1,000 Bob and, in keeping with the listing of judges, make sure you submit yourself as “Bob Wiseman (the guy who quit Blue Rodeo)”.
