changing stations

Student canceled lesson, disappointed in their progress. Some get defeated about practicing or rather, defeated about not practicing. It is as if there is a tricky part of the mind that fuels mind loops, the kind that lead to ongoing disappointments and conclusions about what you can’t do and why did you ever imagine that you could? If one could overlook the negative voices or just see them for their meaninglessness, if one could stay on track, and change the station from the negative voices to any other voices, the pay off happens, the positive kind. I bet it is the same for learning new language or losing weight etc. That one has to enjoy not caring for the negative affirmations because they’re interest is your loss.
