free app I don’t need

I heard about an app where people partner up and watch you work on something, like your music or your writing or your cooking. They watch you do this in silence for 50 minute sessions. Isn’t it true,  for many people, to know someone else is there makes the likelihood of finishing their tasks higher?  Maybe it just validates that line of thought which states everything we do is a performance. And yet over the years I like to start at the advertised time and sometimes nobody is there. Actually I enjoy starting uniquely especially if nobody is there. The app is free but I don’t need it.
