After being interviewed for a podcast last week, two emailed me complaining about the host. That he cut me off when I was answering questions or later in their comments insinuated I was a bad guest for having to get going after an hour. You can’t control these things when being interviewed or written about. It is best to just make up a story like all the songs weren’t written by you. Makes things so much easier. In Vancouver the first time, maybe 1986, Greg or Jim said, “you know that showbiz saying?” No I don’t I answered. “Bad news is good news.”

Some people always have something to say — a criticism — even when they don’t really know what they’re talking about. We can be such asses. -Kate
