I love Neil Young, always will. Certain musicians are like philosophers I continue studying and just because I might disagree with the wisdom behind Socrates saying ok go ahead kill me you morons, doesn’t ruin that generally I admire him. When Neil took a stand two years ago on Spotify and removed his music because he thought Joe Rogan was an asshole, I didn’t think it was the mountain to die on. I just found the tone of the press release weird because it insinuated Neil was returning because he was thinking about the fans which is true but he’s also thinking about the money he makes from the fans, no? The world would work so much better if both Neil and Socrates had my direct line so they could consult me. Hindsight 20/20.
