The first time was producing, half way through, the artist brought new material to the sessions and the new lyrics were offensive. I couldn’t see myself lecturing this person on my ideas about right and wrong so I made up a lie and ran away.<\/p>\n

The second time was a theatrical job and I didn’t realize until after I was hired that one of the actors was someone who had deeply hurt my best friend. I didn’t want to be on set with her and act as if we were buds. I made up a lie and ran away.<\/p>\n
