There was a musician at the college into mystical arts and she said to me there is no I inside you. Every time you say I it is just a thought thinking. You can pretend your face is I but it is just eyes, nose, chin. You might as well say your toenail is I. The part of your mind where you are thinking I is in your brain. Maybe you should imagine a brain when you imagine the look of what you call I. I told her I understood but she said if I thought I understood then I missed the whole point. I might have understood that too but didn’t bother to say so. She left the program without graduating. I bumped into her today, first time in 3 years. I asked if she is still playing music,<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“You know” she said, “little circles, infinity, pointlessness. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“Think life is pointless?” <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
