One time our transmission died in the rain after a show in Davis, California. Had to get a tow truck in the middle of the night to tow us to the nearest mechanic’s shop relative to where we were staying, Carmaig’s in San Rafael.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One time in Kiel, Germany we hit the bar that you are suppose to clear and scrapped the roof and worried we would have to pay a lot more to the rental company. I don’t think later they inspected the roof.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One time the motor died after taking the mountains in Alberta on the way to play Banff. Bought a rebuilt engine and continued to honour the remaining 2 weeks of dates with Andras and The Previous.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One time tyre blew on the 401 on our way to Montreal. The car was a convertible. Greg was yelling at the driver not to use the brakes because it might seize up. All I could hear was him screaming “no brakes! no brakes!” I took it to mean the brakes didn’t work and we were about to die.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One time the side door to the van broke and had to be held by David Lee while moving and we pulled into the nearest town, Belleville and found a wrecker who was about to close (it was Friday) but found a similar side door. Installed right then and there $50 and back on our way.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One time we drove through a blizzard to open for Ultravox at Barrymore’s in Ottawa and we were way too close to the cars in front of us the whole time but we lived.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
