There was a guy maybe in California who recorded cricket sounds and slowed them down significantly. It sounded like human choral music. I heard it 2 or 3 years ago when most other people did as it was making Facebook rounds. Played it back last night, very moving, surreal. I went to the piano to play it to myself and surprisingly realized it was a diatonic melody but then I wondered why did I assume the notes would be more random? But then I wondered why think a diatonic melody isn’t also a random happening? Either way I’m going to spend more time with Buddy Holly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
