Some of the books we’re looking at in the songwriting course include Bob Snider On Songwriting, John Sobol You Are Your Media & Kodwu Eshun More Brilliant Than The Sun. Each class starts with a student presenting a song story, talking or performing a song then explaining its emotional impact on them. One assignment is to write a bad song, another is write a hit song. Not sure whether I should mention in advance you cannot get less than an A for assignments like these or put another way how could I possibly measure whether what they tell me is bad is bad enough or what they call good is good enough? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
