In my dream last night, at a party and Ray Davies was there. Didn’t look anything like Ray in real life, but such is the language of dreams. I walked over and asked why the world is without an amazing Kinks movie\/ biopic. Tried to distance myself from an ordinary Kinks fan, referencing first Preservation acts 1 & 2, Arthur and Muswell Hillbillies. Avoided Lola altogether. Those records were a big deal when I was growing up, but truth be told, the Lola record especially blows everything out of the water. I played it safe with Dream Ray.
