Yesterday, students were discussing unwanted encounters with recurring songs on radio or grocery stores even online virality. Why do they play that over and over when it’s horrible? And sometimes they can’t escape it, can’t change the channel. Though changing the channel doesn’t really solve the problem, if the problem is submitting to a playlist that originates from elsewhere. I wonder if this has anything in common with the way people think the same thoughts over and over and over, all their life, even if it drives them mad. Nah, that’s probably science fiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
