The cashier at Nations was impressed with my groceries and asked if I knew the name of the seaweed. She told me her word for it but I can’t pronounce it. She also asked if I knew what she calls the big bag of spinach and I said spinach to which she corrected me with another name I can’t pronounce. Then I asked if she knew the name of the song playing in the background pointing to the ceiling speakers. She looked back like I was confusing her. It’s called Muskrat Love I said by the Captain and Tennille, and her eyes widened like a little kid impressed by a magician.
