After food poisoning some weeks ago, found myself viewing videos of the food path. Camera angles on food traveling down the esophagus into the stomach, into the goop of enzymes then the small intestine, minerals and vitamins leeched from it’s twisty walls charging the blood stream, then upwards against gravity into the large intestine and lastly expelled. Nowadays I think about it all the time, wondering if can I feel the goings on of my insides.
