This wasn&#8217;t the first time they conveyed disappointment about particular teacher, a woman who often is unprepared for classes and then super judgemental if students are confused about what&#8217;s expected of them. The student was depressed and asked me how could someone could be in a position of power who didn&#8217;t seem qualified. With me, they are taking a music business class where among other items we discuss corrupt business practices or payola or discrimination.
