Like being friends with a monster. The monster can hurt you, it’s bigger and unstoppable but it’s blind and you have vision. So you get a long, even need each other until you accidentally light its thumb like Gene Hackman giving Peter Boyle (Frankenstein) a cigar. Keep the monster pleased, that’s where it’s at and practically impossible. Trying to write for my left hand is both the same as writing for my right hand and not at all. The not at all part is that if you are right handed and try to create activity for your left it’s like trying to write legibly or switch hands in tennis or change which hand you bow the violin with. Adhering to the instructions requires a lot more help from the rest of the nervous system. Whether I accomplish it to my satisfaction or not, something unique happens in the brain. I feel that part which is hard to explain since we can’t exactly touch the brain and yet it’s a stimulation I feel nowhere else and it’s so exhilarating I have to scream like Mack Heron just got a touchdown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
