Now that a few days passed only one strong detail remains with me. I was traveling instantly between sides of the Earth using a method where one jumps into a concave dimension, meaning I could see the curves of space before me and one falls with the speed of a parachuter and simultaneously there was some unending fabric slightly between my thumb and index fingers, serving as ballast to my fall/flight. I was concerned at this velocity and the flimsiness of the fabric, that I could at any moment somersault away to a deadly fate but attempts at checking it out only reassured my position was in fact secure. So, I could relax and instantly zip between worlds thousands of miles away and enjoy it. I left in the morning and moments later I arrived in nighttime. It was an outdoor musical performance, it might have been in Asia. I zipped back and encountered a man, older than me and wanted to bring him along to show how this all works. I can’t get over dreams, that they are as real as everything in the “wakeful” state. They are just as wakeful. I came upon a view that still holds true to me. That the heart doesn’t stop pumping, the kidneys filtering, the hair and nails growing and likewise the mind doesn’t stop adhering to it’s purpose too, of thinking and imagining. There is no off switch. That’s why dreams are just as legit as what we ordinarily consider reality. There is a connection between this and John Cage telling interviewers he prefers listening to the traffic outside as music and likewise Pauline Oliveros telling an interviewer she’s more interested in listening to how her cats are listening.

In my dream a few nights ago I experienced an unusual state, I do not think I can convey it words wise, but I want to try putting it down […]

[1

entry","author-rockbob","post-6977","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-uncategorized
["GET
