Keith Jarrett wrote a song in the 70s called the Windup. I remember the first time I heard it and the following 5 trillion times I listened to it stunned. For me it’s a milestone. I could never understand how two hands do this. Then five years ago online, I found a middle aged French guy, taking apart the Windup and explaining to the crowd how it works. He even demonstrated what each hand does. Pure gold. Nothing cooler in the universe than removing mystery.
