Today, for the first time, my daughter got off the school bus by herself and walked home alone. Previously I agreed to let her but indicated I would spy in the background, just in case of any trouble. It worked out but then she insisted I let her try again and not bother to spy, today was it, the real deal. Currently I’m teaching one adult and 4 kids. The adult is in her 40s, more a peer. Whatever I show her, she can play it back pretty accurately, it’s a bit intimidating, a bit like why’d you call me for lessons but at the same time, I can tell these things aren’t really grounded inside her, not yet.
