Smart direction – Hitchcock in the lobby, conducting the audience’s unseen reaction while viewing Psycho’s premier. It’s really amazing when you listen to a whack of Bernard Hermann and then consider the cool move when Martin Scorsese hired him to score Taxi Driver.
