A studio located on Bulwar, moments from where I lived on Phoebe in 1988? Not nearly as much fun that back lane now with security fences and flourescent lights over threatening signs of towaway. When I lived there, the Bamboo was bringing in Cecil Taylor, Ronald Shannon Jackson, the dishwashers had a tip jar with a slogan &#8220;raising a rocket launcher for Bruce Cockburn&#8221;. Maylee is an interesting artist who has creative friends. Her video kills me. Amazing piece of work.
