I woke up from a dream that was disconcerting. I was aware of creatures that could attack me or kill me not unlike Daryl Hannah and Rutger Hauer in Bladerunner. I was a couple steps ahead of them but when I woke up I realized if my dream continued and there was an inevitable confrontation with them and their program to kill people like myself, I wouldn’t stand a chance. I didn’t like the idea that if I had remained asleep and dreaming I would have had to confront something horrible and existential which I wouldn’t survive.
