Last night’s dream. I was heading North in Ontario to meet a couple friends and their daughter who is a good friend of my daughter. They had not yet left Toronto. I was on the telephone with them letting them know where I would stop. It was getting late and I was driving with Justin Trudeau and a lawyer named Scott from Regina as well as my daughter Esm\u00e9. Then Justin suggested a hotel in Sudbury with a Trudeau family theme. I thought ok and called them asking how much for a room. I was feeling pressure to pick something quick and not keep Justin and Scott longer since they still had to turn around and drive back to Toronto. Later in the hotel room there was a strange type of pig. It was not an ordinary pig and it was friendly and just wanted to be patted. Dreams like that remind me that all my investments in believing I am this thing called Bob aren’t reliable. Playing music in front of audiences does something similar and if there is applause afterward, it is why it feels phoney to believe you were entitled to it. Earlier I watched some of an older online debate between Jordan Peterson and Slavoj \u017di\u017eek and when they introduced Slavoj people applauded as if he was a star and waved his hands uncomfortably for them to stop. I bet he has had dreams with heads of state helping him choose a hotel named after them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
