Are we not the same? Do prisoners not lose minds when placed in isolation? Maybe in some way invisible to us, even though appearing to be separate our inner worlds are connected to others. When I work with dancers like Claudia Moore or Julia Sasso I do not see them behind me improvising and yet it I discover new things in my playing just because they are in the same room at the same time responding to the music and it moves me to new places\/ experiences pianistically. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve read that usually bees and ants, separated from their colonies, die when singled out.
