Last week at three different times students called to tell me stories about being sick and unable to do the work that day which they were supposed to present. The work which they committed to doing three weeks earlier. Could be true they separately coincidentally all had horrible surprise sickness, could be horseshit. But the system does not allow any position where a teacher can say something like are you fucking kidding me? The nice thing about these types of problems is I have a lot of experience being a liar and a cheat. I was pretty good in my day if I do say so myself (or maybe I’m lying). An improvisational problem, try to figure out the truth without making an accusation.
