I am very happy with my new shirt featuring Peter Sellers wearing Sherlock Holmes hat and holding in one hand magnifying glass while remarking “Not Now Kato!” On the subway an older woman stared at it from a distance and did not smile. I was certain it meant something to her, something serious and confusing. Later at the open stage a young man approached me and asked about the Japanese shirt. I said it isn’t a Japanese shirt. He said the name Kato is. I said oh, I guess so. He said the design is very Japanese. I see, I didn’t realize. I explained how hilarious Peter Sellers was. He doesn’t care. I also enjoy my shirts with misheard lyrics. I like how many people ask why my shirt says the girl with colitis goes by and I reply the girl with kaleidoscope eyes. Statistically I would say 40% are amused and the others think I am a strangely making fun of women with inflammation. Sad, but worse are the ones who can’t fathom why my other shirt says I want to hold your ham. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
