I read Chicago has a billion dollar deficit. It\u2019s crazy all the news I read about Chicago. I love that city but everything about their mayors does not appeal. Does not make sense to me to go into debt when you cannot pay for it especially when you represent other people who have to absorb the burden of how you spend their tax dollars. Especially when you put your own citizens, especially the poor and needy, on hold. The migrant crisis is such a strange issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At first I liked AOC. I liked her background a working class person, a bartender. Seemed better background than a corporate lobbyist but as New York also morphed into a place of much higher dysfunction, seeming connected to the way the migrant crisis plays, I see her accusing people of racism if they identify what\u2019s broken in their system. It surprises me that she would shut down criticism. As hard to believe as Rob Ford becoming Toronto’s mayor a few years ago let alone a crack smoking one. But that\u2019s how it was and how it is. If one wrote it as fiction one would be accused of lacking creativity and writing that is not believable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New York and Chicago insinuated the Republicans in Texas were racist for complaining about the illegal migrant crisis at their doorstep, so Texas offered to send the migrants to New York and Chicago. New York and Chicago now have some severe problems, same severe Texas problems. I don\u2019t follow why some people abandon the thinking behind legal migration. makes me think about Gad Saad\u2019s theories on the parasitic mind. That we are prone to being under the control of nonsense and allergic to hearing anything contrary to the nonsense we rabidly believe. I dare not tell my students, most of who seem members of Taylor Swift’s army, what my opinions are musically after viewing the Long Pond studio sessions they adore.
