I met a guy decades ago named David Fourlines who supposedly was a shaman. I had a friend who was studying under him in an area of Washington State called La Push. I went to visit and check him out. One part of that trip stayed with me while I tried to assess what I thought of the mystic man and that was what he said about why people watch television, he said it does your thinking for you. I notice it all the time.
