I was watching everyone in the subway car, how different they all were and thinking it is like an orchestra. One guy wearing a fireman’s shirt, maybe was a fireman, smiled at me as if he understood what I was thinking, as if he too enjoyed the orchestra. Then they announced a delay. So many more delays than I ever recall in Toronto. The system has coping problems. Someone got on blaring their music. Rap song. Lot of swearing. Lot of assumptions that either everyone is cool with guy blasting this music or else he wishes to upset people?
