Now $80,000 worth of previous gear comes with $200 music software. Used to be you couldn’t afford to enter studio, now the studio can be your bedroom or a rooftop, whatever you dream up. For the moment it seems more about talent than equipment even though it always was. Wonder what new obstacles will fill the void.

yes, but in the days of $80,000 studios you could still bank on royalties from the sale of recorded media…now anyone can be a studio and nobody is making anything. Enjoy the musical commune.
