I’m trying to get my daughter to put her dishes in the sink because she has developed into someone leaving finished plates or glasses on the table, then carries on at whatever. It’s not her fault, we raised her this way, she had good reason to believe I’m the butler, but she’s old enough to understand this simple thing. I’m disinclined to be militaristic about it. I just remind her or else make doing it part of how she gets other things, “sure, we can call Stella, after you put your dishes in the sink.” It’s my preference for how to teach C# too, just keep it ordinary and unassuming. You want to go tobogganing? Give me C# ascending and descending, hands together, then get your snow pants.
