Made a juice of ginger, cucumber, carrot and apple. Glad I bought that thing once upon a time when someone told me they regretted buying it for so much money and would gladly offload it to me for hardly anything. The motor has a loud tough sound. Sounds like it can tear anything apart. I hope I never lose a finger to any of these frightening machines I am familiar with. A student from Nigeria asked me what I think about electronic sounds because they are not natural. I told him about the great musician Keith Jarrett who agreed with him and said it makes him feel like he is in a room with smokers. I also said I do not mind them because I like what other great musicians did with it like Joe Zawinul and Sun Ra. He said he still finds it ugly because it is unnatural. I said if everything we create comes from the Earth then how can anything ever be unnatural. Aren’t we naturally Earthlings? If we make stuff out of other stuff how can it ever be unnatural? He left and said I am no fun to talk to. Naturally I know what he means.
