student: I can’t do it
teacher: is it political?
student: yes
another student: say it whatever it is!
student: it’s about shit people fight about.
teacher: about war?
student: partly, but partly about things that aren’t.
another student: we won’t tell.
teacher: I won’t tell.
student: I can’t do it, I know people will want to fight. they will cancel me.
teacher: I was canceled once.
student: what happened?
teacher: I offended people by something I said.
student? what did you say?!
teacher: don’t want to tell you.
student: right. I don’t want to fight I just want to say the truth but I know people are too freaked out.
teacher: maybe just wait a week.
student: but I might chicken out.
teacher: chickening out is fair.
another student: it isn’t fair. tell us.
student: musicians get canceled too you know?
teacher: I know, people behave like herd mentality, I am no different.
another student? you don’t think you’re any different?
teacher: I’m human, it’s easy to be stupid, hard to be not stupid.
