The brilliant line up scene in The Usual Suspects, was a blooper reel. The director was pissed off and thought the actors screwed up but the editor realized it worked. There are people sometimes in the studio who have certain magic talent and the trick working with them is stop directing them, allow them being ad they are and study the recording afterwards. It might be there’s gold in them hills and you have to trust not controlling.
