I’m working on a version of Satisfied Mind. Sam Larkin used to play it at Fat Alberts long ago. Recently I was listening to Lucinda William’s version which led me down a rabbit hole of zillions of other versions. It’s the final verse I plan on changing where the narrator says when his time is up he’ll leave this ‘ol world with a satisfied mind. In my version there’s less certainty, in my version he only wants to hope he’ll leave that way.
