Of all the commentary that appeared in the press and on the net, Glenda Jackson’s was the sanest voice. When an attempt was made to silence her speech in parliament, a sinlge voice affirmed the sanity of her delivery, when the speaker John Bercow declared that nothing “unparliamentary” had occurred.
