Many times distracted and so suffers the music. Maybe it is a maturity thing, but the last show with John Oswald, was meaningful for all the right reasons, shooting for a certain focus and landing there. Same contest, whether I can maintain my focus or else cave to make it “nicer” for an imaginary idea of what the crowd likes.

the crowd may in fact like what you’re creating when you’re supremely focused and oblivious, and then again, some may not. Some days it may be nice outside, some days it may be not. Some people like rainy days, but some like it sunny. We all have days where we may prefer the rain, when ordinarily we prefer sunshine.
