Generally art (except for music) doesn’t impress animals. You can put a painting in front of them, read them poetry, start a movie but chances are if you play music they get alert and look around like inquiring what is that?  Sensing something alive. That is what I also like about music. The opposite is depressing. Sounds that are so mechanical they might as well be dead.
