I work a lot with digital samples. There was a 10 – 15 year span of heated arguments about this but it’s history now and the digitaligentsia won. Met more than one film director happy to use the music that comes with software as themes for their film, tons of loops are credit and copyright free. Downside is they sound like loops but most people don’t care about the difference between Tom Cruise and Benicio Del Torro.
