Even though the eyeballs are animated they are just eyeballs. When you look in the mirror you see your parts, eyes or hair or chin…but just parts, all anatomical. Just as valid to look at your belly button or you pinky and say “hey you, lookin’ good”. You can’t explain to a piano why it can’t play itself.
