The pilot landed the flight that everyone other pilot in simulation did not survive and at the same time technically was drunk – love the 2012 movie, Flight. How upset that makes everyone not unlike who occupies the seat of power in America. I like issues around bias. The assumption that we are not supposed to be in these situations but in fact are.  A 12 yr. old bully is not suppose to be president, an alcoholic is not supposed to be flying an airplane. I watched that sequence late last night on Youtube, when the airplane is going down, Denzel telling Margaret to say hello to her son. I noticed something awesome, no music. In scoring we are telling people something about how to feel but there is a lot of overkill. It is a good director that knows how to be selective and keep bias in check.
