Even electronic sounds are based on magnets and electrons which we discovered and did not invent. We didn’t invent sound, we created instruments but did not invent sound anymore than we invented the sun. There is a question posed in math circles, is math invented or discovered? Makes me wonder about music and if it too is invented or discovered.
