Last night, story on the radio that scientists were advancing the nuclear clock to 90 seconds before midnight. A horrible story about a horrible possibility about horrible people in positions of power threatening zillions of lives. They selected a song by Hawksley Workman to represent the situation of facing the end of the world and the lyrics were about just loving somebody even if everything was over. A great demonstration of having clueless staff in a show I otherwise find likeable; As It Happens. If they had called me for advice, I would picked Mother by John Lennon because the Earth is also our mother and his very apropos primal screaming.
