Working on a song and trying to not sound like me. I recorded a young woman doing the lead vocal, then added a drum pattern that is far from anything I usually do. So far so good, then it all went downhill. I tried piano, guitar, banjo and other electronic ideas but they all sounded like me and my habits. Took a day away from it to realize it. This is my favourite problem.
