two notes on a piano had slightly different perspectives on who they were and where they lived but both believed themselves unique. and they were (and they weren’t). they were frustrated when the sustain pedal tried to explain that they weren’t separate notes and they thought the pedal absolutely delusional. they said look at us, we’re both separate notes you moron.
