first person: My song is about my mind, about the fact that the mind tries to be in charge and fights all the time to try doing it but, really, everybody knows they have to die so there’s this crazy race on, all the time in life, to try being in charge of everything just to deal with the fact that you can’t deal with everything because you’re gonna die.

second person: My song is about my dad who died twenty years ago and how I realized after people die they take to the grave much more than just themselves, they take all the stories they could tell you about whoever else you are connected to. It’s about the fact that through those stories they represent other people and their lives, about the fact that one life represents more than one life.
