People who apologize with an explanation they didn’t do anything wrong but they’re sorry, are the most pathetic, the worst. Way to go Jason Kenney, still unchallenged for the title. Math is the hardest thing to teach. It was easy to do addition and subtraction but now in grade four she’s asking what’s multiplication and division again? I do my best but many times her eyes glaze over, not as easy to make sense out of, like the student who asked yesterday why do people even like Thelonious Monk? Do I point out she’s insinuating she does not like Monk and the reason people do, might be precisely why she doesn’t? And that that is fine and dandy but just what both think about what they heard. It’s words, they’re messy and inefficient navigating music, math or morons.
