There is an assignment about discrimination in the music business and one student’s essay was essentially that it does not exist and you just have to work hard and have a bit of luck. I wrote them after and asked if I could quote their essay for the next class discussion. I’m hoping they say yes, but also hoping they say no because I’m not sure I know how to help keep their masks on when the wresting starts.
