I didn’t know him but lots who have feeds that offer insights and gifts of jazz, eulogized his profound influence and while viewing their stories the thinking behind the 6th diminished sequence stood out, stunning. Just baby steps so far and yet it already feels like the kind of brain and music epiphany one encounters only once in long while.
