In one of the term’s last classes, a student who usually didn’t play, came with a guitar and sung a song about someone falsely accused of a crime. Someone asked if it was based on a real story and she said everything is based on a real story. Someone else asked if it was based on a celebrity and she answered enigmatically, don’t celebrities fill their air with the same lungs as non-celebrities? Someone else asked how do you know your perspective is the truth and she said I don’t, but we also don’t know if I’m wrong. I asked what was the best part about writing it, she said all these judgemental questions.
